Refund policy

Last updated August 23, 2026

ActiveKit sells one thing: a monthly software subscription. This page says when a charge for it comes back, how to ask, and how canceling works.

1. What you are paying for

An ActiveKit subscription is a flat monthly fee for access to the platform on one of the plans listed on the pricing section of the homepage. It is billed in advance, in US dollars, and it renews each month until you cancel it. There is no usage metering, so a bill never arrives larger than the plan price.

ActiveKit issues no monetary value, holds no funds, and never pays out. Coins are earned in the customer's product, never bought: there is no way to put value in, no transfer between users, and no cash-out. A balance never leaves the product it was earned in. Coins buy cosmetics, which ActiveKit fulfills, and the customer's own product value, which the customer fulfills. The store prices everything in coins and nothing in money, and ActiveKit sells nothing a coin buys. A subscription is the only thing anybody pays for here, so it is the only thing this page can return. Grants record what your users earned inside your own product and coins are earned the same way, so no grant and no balance was ever paid for, and nothing on this page refunds one.

2. Who takes the payment and who returns it

Paddle is the merchant of record for ActiveKit, the platform operated by Hello MSG Inc, a corporation registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in the Philippines. Paddle is the seller on your invoice, takes the payment, and registers for and remits the tax that applies where you are. When a refund is approved, Paddle returns it to the payment method you used, including the tax that was charged on it. Card refunds usually clear in 5 to 10 business days, which is your bank rather than ActiveKit.

3. The free plan

The Free plan costs nothing and takes no card, so there is nothing to refund. Use it for as long as you need to decide whether ActiveKit fits.

4. 14 days on your first paid month

Your first charge on a paid plan is refundable in full for 14 days. Write to hello@activekit.app within 14 days of that charge, quote the invoice number from your Paddle receipt, and the whole amount comes back. You do not have to give a reason.

5. Renewals

A renewal charge is not refundable, because the plan is live for the month it paid for. Cancel before the renewal date if you do not want another month. Canceling never takes away access you already paid for: the subscription runs to the end of that period and then stops, and no further charge is made.

6. Upgrades and downgrades

An upgrade takes effect immediately, and the difference is charged for the rest of the current period. A downgrade takes effect at the next renewal, so you keep the plan you paid for until that month ends. A downgrade is not a refund of the month in progress.

7. Charges made in error

A duplicate charge, a charge after you canceled, or a charge for a plan you had already left is refunded in full whenever you report it, inside or outside the 14 days. Report it at hello@activekit.app and it gets fixed.

8. If ActiveKit closes your account

If ActiveKit closes your account for a reason other than a breach of the terms of service, the unused part of the period you paid for comes back. If it closes because of a breach, it does not.

9. How to ask

Email hello@activekit.app with the invoice number from your Paddle receipt and the email address on the account. ActiveKit checks it against the account, and an approved refund goes to Paddle to issue.

10. Before you open a chargeback

Ask for the refund first. A chargeback suspends the account until the bank resolves it, which takes weeks, and a refund handled here is faster for both sides.

11. Contact

Billing and refund questions go to hello@activekit.app.
